A highly effective and intensive treatment!
Triggerpoints are hypersensitive small parts of a muscle that are cramped. The pain doesn't feel like cramping. Often one just suffers from a particular area that hurts. Think of head- and neckaches, backaches or general arm- and leg complaints.
Triggerpoints can be caused by stress, bad posture & nourishment, straining the muscle and jammed nerve bundles. Triggerpoints mostly occur in active, young adults, where the chance of strain and static activity of the muscle is the highest.
The Triggerpoint treatment is very effective, but can also be painful. It is possible to precede the pressure treatment with the so-called stretch and spray technique. This technique stretches the muscle lightly and cools it with coldspray. This often decreases the tensity on triggerpoint locations, causing the pressure treatment to run smoother and less painful.
Usually no more than 3 treatments are necessary to get rid of the pain you have carried around for so long.
